I founded Heavyweight Nation in March of 2019 during my junior year of high school. At the time, I noticed a gap in wrestling coverage, especially at the high school and collegiate levels, and felt the sport deserved more consistent and engaging media attention. What started as a passion project quickly evolved into a full fledged digital media platform dedicated to elevating wrestling and giving athletes the spotlight they have earned.
Since launching the brand, I have published over 1,000 articles on my website, providing year round coverage of high school, college, and international wrestling. From tournament previews and match breakdowns to live results and athlete features, my goal has always been to deliver timely, accurate, and compelling content that resonates with the wrestling community.
In addition to written coverage, I have produced and hosted over 170 podcast episodes, offering commentary, interviews, and insights that dive deeper into the sport’s biggest stories. This multimedia approach has helped Heavyweight Nation build strong relationships with athletes, fans, coaches, and other media outlets in the wrestling space.
Heavyweight Nation has also grown a powerful presence on social media, amassing over 160,000 followers on Instagram and more than 100,000 on TikTok. Through short form videos, reels, and interactive posts, I have been able to connect with younger audiences and bring more attention to the athletes and events that make wrestling special.
Today, Heavyweight Nation stands as one of the most consistent and independent voices in wrestling media. With a focus on authenticity, community engagement, and content quality, I remain committed to growing the brand, expanding its reach, and continuing to serve the sport I love.
